Liquor Licensing Consultants has been operating in Auckland since 1983. We provide a total liquor licencing service from the obtaining of licences (on, off, Club, Special, Caterers, Brothels) variations and or extensions of hours through to the preparation of Planning Certificates and advice on Resource consents.

Applications for Manager's Certificates and renewals therof to ensure that they are kept current and we provide a backup and advice service for our clients who hold such certificates. We hold fortnightly training courses on the Sale of Liquor Act 1989, under NZQA Unit Standards 4646 and 16705. On the successful completion of this compulsory course the student obtains the Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) which is a prerequisite when applying for a General Manager's Certificate.

We also hold transition test(s) for the Licence Controller Qualification for any person who holds a current General Manager's Certificate.

Greame Scott our Company Manager is a widely recognised and respected expert in the Liquor Licensing Industry. Prior to establishing Liquor Licensing Consultants Limited, Greame spent many years as an Inspector of Licensed Premises. His responsibilities included maintaining standards in hotels, taverns, restaurants and entertainment venues through New Zealand and setting standards in premises where changes had been made by legislation.

Prior to being a licencing inspector, Graeme was with the Justice Department as a Deputy Registrar for 12 years. Subsequent to establishing LLC Limited Greame has managed nightclubs, restaurants and hotels and was a partner in one of the first taverns in Queen St with a 24 hour liquor licence. He is a foundation member of the Sale of Liquor Act National Trainers Association (S.O.L.A.N.T)
